Newly updated, this 1920's carriage house, located behind the
main house, has over 725 square feet in a very private
accommodation on the second floor. In the bedroom is a queen-size bed, with the
entire room decorated in white wicker. The living room
includes a fireplace with gas logs, 27" cable TV (20" flat-screen TV in the bedroom), DVD player, stereo with CD player,
private phone, and built-in bookshelves and desk. There is a matching leather sofa and loveseat, and there are original hardwood floors throughout. The sofa pulls out to a queen-size sofa sleeper, thus,
we can accommodate up to 3 people in the carriage house.
In the dining room there is a built-in hutch with a table and chairs. The fully equipped kitchen is a sunny place in the morning. It contains a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, a stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, pots and pans, and all the utensils needed in the event you decide to eat in for dinner!
Refreshments, condiments, coffee and tea, cookies and microwave popcorn are also provided in the kitchen. The full bathroom has a
marble sink, a tub and shower, wall-mounted hairdryer, and unique original tiled floors. Guests have access to the outdoor deck below with a chiminea.
The room rate includes an all-you-can-eat breakfast
for 2, served in the formal dining room in the main house. For the comfort of our guests, the Heaton Carriage House
has newly installed central heating and air conditioning.
